Lithuanian <mentioned xml:lang="" target="#cog_lit_ardyti"><ref target="#cog_lit_ardyti">ardyti</ref></mentioned> and Proto-Slavic <mentioned xml:lang="" target="#cog_sla-x-proto_oriti_x2"><ref target="#cog_sla-x-proto_oriti_x2">oriti</ref></mentioned> are related Balto-Slavic comparanda, though not exact cognates <bibl corresp="#derksen2008" n="374">Derksen 2008: 374</bibl>.
